O concurso é financiado pelo Living Steel.

Os membros do Living Steel incluem as seguintes companhias de aço: Arcelor, Baosteel, BlueScope Steel, CELSA Group, Corus, Erdemir, IMIDRO, Mittal Steel, Posco, Ruukki e Tata Steel. Os membros patrocinadores incluem o Centro Brasileiro da Construção em Aço, a European Convention for Constructional Steelwork, a Fondazione Promozione Acciaio, o Institute for Steel Development and Growth, a International Zinc Association, a Korea Iron & Steel Association e o The Steel Construction Institute.

O Living Steel é administrado pelo International Iron and Steel Institute (IISI) em nome dos membros do programa.
